The most loyal followers of Io make great pilgrimages deep within the Shattered Desert, where they pay tribute to the Moon Goddess and are rewarded in kind for their love and loyalty. What they don't mention is that since taking mortal form, Io has taken a liking to the -other- kind of moon as well, worshiping it accordingly and expecting the same in return.
